God Almighty is known by many names and appellations by the different ethnic groups of Africa. In Nigeria, He is called Olodumare by the Ife Yoruba, Osanobua by Benin's Edo, Chukwu by the Igbo, etc.
Whatever name is applied, God Almighty is recognized as the Supreme Being. Beneath God Almighty is a recognition of the forces that compose creation, both negative and positive.
